Who Is JiDion 😈
JiDion is an American Youtuber that has exploded in popularity over the past 2 years. By centering his channel around funny pranks and vlog content, he’s created a dedicated fanbase that religiously watches his videos every week. Today we’ll be diving deeper into who JiDion is and how he came to be.
Yung JiDion 🐣
Jidon Adams was born on December 12, 2000, in Houston, Texas. He attended Clear Lake High School and was a part of the football team as a defensive end average of 3 tackles/game. Jidion was also an avid entrepreneur as he often would be seen hustling drinks/food in the school cafeteria to make some quick cash. He was suspended after getting caught and in his senior year discovered his passion for content creation. In 2018 he started his Youtube channel with aspirations of making it big. At first, he would follow the trends of Youtube but would often be overshadowed by bigger creators as his performance flatlined. Those videos would be removed shortly and Jidion would then transition into his real bread and butter.
THE RISE 🤴
Jidion would finally see some progress in late 2020 and early 2021 as he transitioned into prank videos. Though pranks aren’t a new category in the Youtube space, Jidion brought a new sense of youth into content and a charismatic personality along with it.
Ranging from “Giving Away FAKE Popeyes Chicken Sandwiches” to “Giving Strangers The N-Word Pass Vol.3” Jidion’s videos are nothing short but a hub of creative, out-of-the-box content.
However, after being BRUTALLY disrespected by a Foot Locker manager by the name of TYRONE, Jidion decided to clap back. He came with a clown costume, a diss track called “Fuck Tyrone” and a 5.3M viewed video 🎥
From there on his momentum accelerated as the term became widespread among his loyal fans.
Jidion continued his run as he uploaded even more creative content every single week. At the end of 2020, he published a 40-minute video highlighting all his best prank moments, and that video now sits at over 20 million views
Continuity 💰
2021 began and the JiDion steamroller 🚅 showed no signs of stopping.
JiDion released some of his most iconic videos like “Taking a Bath During Online College Classes” (16M views), “Cooking Meat Inside Vegan Restaurants” (7.3M views), and “Getting a Haircut During College Lecture” (7.4M views).
From there JiDion developed even more iconic moments with the release of “Thick Chicks” featuring his love for Lizzo and the “It’s giving bozo” phrase from his encounter with snobby TikTokers.
It’s commonly known in JiDion’s fan base that Demarcus Cousins the third is indeed his real name.
After attending Buck’s game, JiDion got the chance to meet and take a picture with his big daddy. This put JiDion on the map as the internet blew up.
Soon later Jidion would start streaming on Twitch and uploading clips to his second channel called JiDion Premium.
EXPONENTIAL 📈
Since the start of 2022, things definitely have been crazy for Demarcus Cousins the Third.
From his arrest at IHOP, Pokimane drama that got him banned on Twitch, getting his haircut courtside at an NBA game, bowling with a coconut, angry artists looking for smoke, and going to the most racist town in America, JiDion is for sure solidifying himself as one of Youtube’s Top Creators.
His loyal fan base is expanding faster than ever before and he’s continuing to capture the momentum.
Moving on to different continents and countries, JiDion’s content is one of the most dynamic ever seen on Youtube.
It’s safe to say that the King of Pranks isn’t going anywhere anytime soon ☠️
